Port of UddevallaLocated on the west coast of Sweden the port of Uddevalla is one of the country´s major cargo handling ports. We specialize in the handling of bulk cargoes and forest products as well as general cargo shipped in either conventional, semi-container or ro-ro vessels. Uddevalla has the advantage of being ice-free all year around and is often used in winter as an alternativ to other Swedish ports.
Port-operator Uddevalla Hamnterminal AB is owned 54 percent by the Municipality of Uddevalla and 46 percent by private companies. The port company employs around 90 workers.
Uddevalla is a deepwater port with as much as 12 metres of depth available alongside the quays.
The port area is linked directly with the national railways network and there is good access to the European system of main highways.
