| Boatman is compulsory in Port of UddevallaStarting January 1st 2009, boatman is compulsory at arrival/sailing of vessels with length of 80 metres and above to all quays in Uddevalla Port, due to:
- The vessel shall be on specified berth to avoid shifting.
- Minimize the risk for damages and accidents when vessel mooring.
The Port has noticed that the damages have increased when vessels berthed without using boatmen.
