Opening hours during Christmas and New Year

Christmas and New Year are holidays in Sweden and work is normally not performed. All work during these days is to be considered as overtime work and is voluntary. Uddevalla Hamnterminal cannot guarantee availability of labours these days, but we will do our outmost to give our clients the very best service. Liner service will have priority.

• 24/12 Christmas Eve - No work, port is closed.
• 25/12 Christmas Day - No work - port is closed.
• 26/12 Boxing Day the day after Christmas day - port is closed.
• 27/12 Saturday - No ordinary work. All work is on over-time and on voluntary basis and availability of labors cannot be guaranteed.
• 28/12 Sunday - No ordinary work. All work is on over-time and on voluntary basis and availability of labors cannot be guaranteed.
• 29/12 Monday - Normal working day, 07.00 -16.00 hours. Note! During these days in between, the number of labors in the stevedore and at the terminal is reduced.
• 30/12 Tuesday - Normal working day, 07.00 -16.00 hours. Note! During these days in between, the number of labors in the stevedore and at the terminal is reduced.
• 31/12 New Year’s Eve - No work, port is closed
• 1/1 2025 New Year’s Day - No work, port is closed
• 2/1 Friday - Normal working day, 07.00 -16.00 hours.
• 3/1 Saturday - No ordinary work. All work is on over-time and on voluntary basis and availability of labors cannot be guaranteed.
• 4/1 Sunday - No ordinary work. All work is on over-time and on voluntary basis and availability of labors cannot be guaranteed.
• 5/1 Monday - Normal working day, 07.00 -16.00 hours. Note! During these days in between, the number of labors in the stevedore and at the terminal is reduced.
• 6/1 Epiphany, thirteenth day of Christmas - All work is on over-time and on voluntary basis and availability of labors cannot be guaranteed.
