Work by Stevedores

About half of the employees in Port of Uddevalla work in our stevedoriung department. Our stevedores have plenty of experience in various types of port and terminal assignments and are used to challenges and varied tasks. Stowage work in Port of Uddevalla is arranged via the vessel´s agent.

Regular working hours, weekdays 07.00-16.00.

Meals 09.00-09.30 och 13.00-13.30

2nd shift 16.00-00.30, on special request.

Work on Saturaday, Sunday and holidays, on special request.

No work on following national holidays: Christmas Day, New Years Day, Epiphany Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, 1st of May, Whit Sunday and Midsummer.

No local holidays.
