Reception of sludge

Sludge from vessels can be received by tanker at all quays in Port of Uddevalla. Orders for sludge reception must be made at least 48 hours in advance, reception is made weekdays between 07.00 and 16.00.

The reception of sludge is free of charge in the Port of Uddevalla ,
providing following requirements are complied with:Application for delivery to be given 48 hrs. before delivery, max 8,5 cbm.

• Delivery within working-hrs, working-days 07.00 – 16.00 hrs.
• Connecting and disconnecting of hoses max 15 min each.
• Assistance of the crew during the whole operation.
• International couplings.
• The discharge capacity does not fall short of 5 cbm / hrs.
  Additional time will be charged.
• Declaration of contents to be given to receivers, stating quantity,
  type and kind of emulsion used. The waste shall be free from foreign
  substances, such as PCB, chlorine, solvent and detergents.
• The vessel shall provide the port authority a copy of its valid IOPP Cert.

• Reception in Uddevalla by Road-transport only.
• Vessel will be charged / hrs. for additional time and for delivery on
  overtime and holidays according to tariff.
